PCIM Europe 2013: Exhibition and conference preview

The PCIM Europe 2013 will take place in Nuremberg from May 14th to 16th. This year, again, more than 370 German and international exhibitors will present their latest innovations and solutions in the field of power electronics. The focus of the exhibition and conference will be on renewable energy generation, smart grids and energy storage technologies. The PCIM Europe 2013 will highlight established as well as innovative products and developments. Owing to its continued expansion the exhibition will - for the first time - be held in halls 7 and 9 of the Nuremberg trade fair grounds. Thanks to the additional space a second, specialist forum - dealing with a wide range of issues - will be held in parallel to the exhibitor forum. A key topic here will be energy efficiency. The PCIM conference provides in-depth knowledge about future-oriented technologies such as solar and wind energy, e-mobility and new materials. New insights into these topics will be discussed in six special sessions. The comprehensive seminar and tutorial programme faciliates the exchange of ideas with internationally renowned experts. Once again the PCIM Europe 2013 in Nuremberg is THE place to be when it comes to power electronics, intelligent motion technology, renewable energy and energy management.
